I do love your headline and your post! When I looked up the reason to peel tomatoes, most sites I checked out claimed that you peel tomatoes to create a smoother texture. I imagine if you purée them, this wouldn’t be this problem. I’d really like to learn to can them, but I worry about doing it safely.

Thank you so much Ruth. I had fun writing this. On a canning mission at the moment. First with jams and then I will try to preserve jars of tomatoes for sauce. Wish me luck. I'll share what I learn and any feedback on mastering the art of canning.

This made me chuckle Julia. Since I bought a fancy portable steam iron, I've been travelling everywhere with it and ironing everything! haha But when someone else can, I definitely don't want to be ironing!
