Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and this year has been so hectic that I almost missed out on this chance to share gifts this year. Our friends at Kelly Bronze have gifted us one of their highly prized Christmas Turkeys and, it could be yours!
Royalty of Roasts for Christmas
Imagine a succulent roast, a centerpiece at your feast, but not just any roast, the royalty of roasts! Kelly Bronze Turkeys are celebrated for their impeccable pedigree of turkeys. Raised wild, free to roam and forage in woodlands, hand plucked and dried to intensify its flavour and tenderise the meat.
If you have been here a while you will know that until last year I had never cooked a Whole Turkey until I was invited to a special event at Jamie Oliver’s HQ where I met Paul Kelly of Kelly Bronze Turkeys. After watching his demo, speaking with his son and daughter and being inspired by their passion, and tasting their produce, I was convinced to add a Kelly Bronze Christmas Turkey to my Christmas traditions. My turkey arrived a few days before Christmas and with no brining required, I cooked it to perfection (a recipe I will share with you) It was quite the feast shared with my family and friends and I have since become a convert. It was wonderful, and I look forward to another royal roast this year.
