Today is Africa Day! Marking the official day the Organisation of African Union was created on 25 May 1963. A celebration of African pride, beauty, a great people. A call for unity always!

I grew up singing the original version of this heartwarming song by Salif Keita.

Today I still sing. I sing out loud, in my writing, with my food, in my heart. Forever I will sing of Africa, our beauty, our greatness. The cradle of humanity! Celebrate Africa today and always! I was quite overjoyed sharing this on Instagram and I thought I should send you some of that joy.
